Things to Do

Bali’s natural attractions include long lines of sandy beaches, picturesque paddy fields, sky high active volcanoes, high velocity rivers, pristine crater lakes, sacred caves, deep ravines and lush tropical forests of exotic wildlife.

The rich cultural heritage of Bali is also visible everywhere – in thousands of temples and palaces, in many colourful ceremonies and festivals, in drama, dance and music.

You can always experience Bali on a couple of different excursions and guided tours by either private car, coach, boat or even aeroplane: viewing Bali’s many beaches and paddy fields, the wonderful Besakih Temple on the steep slopes of Mount Agung, Lake Batur and the temples of Ulu Watu and Tanah Lot from a flying helicopter is a uniquely special experience.

The majority of full day tours by car cost about £20 per head, half day tours £10. These prices are reasonable and include a multi lingual guide, transport in an air conditioned car, all entrance fees but no meals. Which driver and guide you choose can make make or break your day so choose wisely.

Also be warned that those offering very low price tend to waste a lot of your time by taking you to shops that pay them a commission on your purchases.
